A Transport Simulator replicates the motion of a truck-bed.
Imagine your packaged-product in the back of a delivery-truck on its way to a customer. As the truck is driven over rough roadways at different speeds, your package gets bounced and jostled around. This is the motion that is being replicated here.

There are formal test specifications that call for increasing the vibration frequency until your package lifts off the wooden deck and bounces around a little. The table typically has a fence around it to prevent the packages from bouncing off the wooden deck.
The table is driven by electric motor, with very simple controls.
The motion is sinusoidal and just a few Hz.
