There is an art and a science to creating good Vibration Fixturing.

Not only must the fixture provide rigid anchoring of the product to the vibration table, it must do so over a range of frequencies & test levels.
This is not easy! Every structure has vibratory modes. Exciting those modes as vibration is applied can readily lead to under-testing in some zones and over-testing in others.

Utilizing FEA software and applying lessons learned over many years, designers at VST create robust fixturing from magnesium alloy....the preferred fixturing material due to its low mass-density and high material-damping.
